Meet Jenny Alzate
Integrative Psychotherapist
I’m Jenny Alzate, LPC, an integrative, bilingual psychotherapist with over 25 years of experience working in the mental health field. My work focuses on helping women and families navigate emotional challenges, life transitions, relationship patterns, and the deeper layers of personal growth.
My approach blends evidence-based psychotherapy with mind–body awareness and trauma-informed care. I draw from a range of therapeutic frameworks to support the connection between emotional experience, the nervous system, and the body.
Throughout my career, I have been dedicated to creating a space where women feel safe enough to explore their inner world with honesty and curiosity. Healing is not about fixing what is broken, but about understanding the patterns that shape us and creating the conditions for meaningful change.
I currently provide integrative psychotherapy, immersive clinical intensives, and therapeutic gatherings designed to support deeper reflection, emotional regulation, and lasting transformation.

An Integrative, Mind–Body Approach to Therapy
My work is rooted in integrative psychotherapy, which brings together evidence-based clinical therapy with mind–body approaches that support nervous system regulation, emotional processing, and self-awareness.
Rather than focusing only on symptoms, this approach explores the deeper patterns that shape how we think, feel, and relate to ourselves and others.
Through therapy, clients often gain insight into emotional patterns, relationship dynamics, and the ways past experiences may still be influencing their present lives.

Who I Work With
I often work with women who:
• Feel stuck in repeating emotional or relational patterns
• Are navigating anxiety, stress, depression, or emotional overwhelm
• Are processing trauma, attachment wounds, or complex relationships
• Are moving through life transitions, identity shifts, or major change
• Have insight into their patterns but still feel stuck
• Are looking for deeper therapeutic work beyond surface-level coping
• Want a therapist who integrates mind, body, and emotional awareness
• Are ready to better understand themselves and create meaningful change
Many of the women I work with are thoughtful, self-aware individuals who sense that their struggles have deeper layers beneath the surface. They may appear high-functioning outwardly while carrying significant emotional weight internally.
My role is to create a space where we can slow down, explore these layers safely, and develop greater clarity, regulation, and self-understanding.

Healing the Whole Person
As an integrative psychotherapist, I believe that well-being is not limited to emotional health alone. I support women in understanding how stress, trauma, and emotional experiences live in the body — and how healing can occur through awareness, regulation, and intentional care.
In our work together, I help women learn how to:

Deactivate the body’s physiological stress response

Reconnect with internal awareness and intuition

Activate the body’s natural relaxation response

Use lifestyle and mind–body tools to support healing

Build emotional resilience and self-regulation

Integrate supportive practices alongside therapy
My approach does not replace medical or psychiatric care when needed. Instead, it complements and supports it by addressing the connection between emotional health, the nervous system, and the body.
A Therapist Who Walks the Path
I approach my work with humility, curiosity, and deep respect for the healing process. I understand that facing our inner experiences — our emotions, patterns, and stories — can be both challenging and profoundly meaningful.
I believe that well-being is something every person deserves. While I support others in their healing journeys, I also believe in continuing my own growth and self-reflection as a therapist and human being.
This ongoing commitment to personal and professional growth allows me to meet clients with authenticity, compassion, and an understanding that healing is rarely linear — but it can be deeply transformative.
