Clinical care.
Deeply human.
Hi, I’m Jenny Alzate, LPC.
I’m an integrative, bilingual psychotherapist with over 25 years of experience working in the mental health field. My work focuses on emotional healing, the body and nervous system, and the patterns that shape your experience of life.
My background & training
Why can someone
understand so much
and still feel stuck?
That question changed the way I practice psychotherapy.
I began looking beyond insight alone and more deeply into trauma, the nervous system, the body, protective parts, emotional patterns, mind-body medicine, and the many ways lived experiences continue to affect the whole person.
I also believe in this work from a deeply human place.
I understand healing from both sides of the therapeutic relationship—the clinician helping someone navigate their story and the person willing to look inward, confront old patterns, and continue becoming.
That experience has shaped the therapist I am today.
My work is clinical and evidence-informed, but deeply human.
There is room here for science and intuition.
For psychology and spirituality.
“Healing doesn’t have to require abandoning any part of yourself.”
Jenny Alzate, LPC

Room for
all of you.
For talking and silence.
For understanding what happened and noticing what is happening inside your body right now.
For compassion and accountability.
For softness and strength.
My approach does not replace medical or psychiatric care when needed. It complements and supports it by addressing the connection between emotional health, the nervous system, and the body.
Grounded in experience.
Always growing.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Certified Mental Health Integrative Medicine Provider with over 25 years of experience working in the mental health field. My work is grounded in ethical clinical practice, current research, and deep respect for each client’s unique history, culture, and nervous system.
Authenticity.
Compassion. Curiosity.
I approach my work with humility, curiosity, and deep respect for the healing process. I understand that exploring emotions, patterns, and personal experiencescan be both challenging and profoundly meaningful.
I believe that well-being is something every person deserves. While I support others in their healing journeys, I also believe in continuing my own growth and self-reflection as a therapist and human being.
This ongoing commitment to personal and professional growth allows me to meet clients with authenticity, compassion, and an understanding that healing is rarely linear—but it can be deeply transformative.
You don’t need to know exactly where to begin.
You may simply know: I don’t want to keep feeling this way. That is enough of a place to begin.
