A consistent space to be heard, understood, and supported.

And then the session is over.

For some experiences—and for some people—the traditional weekly therapy hour simply doesn’t provide enough space for the kind of work they are ready to do.
Clinical Psychotherapy Intensives offer another way.
Extended, individualized therapeutic experiences give me more time to help you understand what is happening beneath the surface, attend to your body and nervous system, process what emerges, and integrate the experience before you leave. This isn’t about rushing healing.
A psychotherapy intensive is an extended period of focused clinical treatment designed around a particular concern, experience, pattern, or therapeutic goal.
I offer focused therapeutic space starting at six hours, with additional time available based on your needs.
Depending on your needs, an intensive may take place over an extended session or across multiple sessions or days.
This additional time allows me to guide you organically between conversation, emotional processing, somatic awareness, nervous-system work, parts work, reflection, rest, and integration without constantly watching the clock.
The intensive is not a standardized protocol.
It is an individualized clinical experience designed around you.
Whether I am working with someone in weekly psychotherapy or through a clinical intensive, my approach remains Integrative Psychotherapy.
That means I am not relying on one technique or working only with your thoughts.
Understanding your experiences, emotions, relationships, beliefs, and patterns.
Working carefully with traumatic and overwhelming experiences while respecting safety, pacing, readiness, and your individual nervous system.
Noticing how emotional experiences and trauma may continue to show up through sensations, tension, activation, shutdown, and other bodily responses.
Developing greater awareness of your stress responses and expanding your capacity for regulation, safety, and emotional processing.
Exploring protective patterns and younger parts of yourself with curiosity and compassion.
Understanding the interconnected relationship among emotional experience, physical sensations, stress, attention, and overall well-being.
For clients who desire this dimension, there can also be room to explore meaning, spirituality, intuition, and energetic experience within an appropriate therapeutic framework.
I work with the whole person.
You don’t have to know what modality you need. Start with what you’re experiencing.

You may enter through heartbreak and discover an old attachment wound.
You may come because of burnout and discover grief.
You may want to work on childhood trauma while also experiencing anxiety or depression.
Human beings don't fit neatly into categories.
Neither will your intensive.
These pathways help me understand where you want to begin.
From there, your intensive is designed around your history, therapeutic goals, current needs, nervous system, readiness, and clinical appropriateness.
Choose a starting point. I’ll shape the care around you.
A consistent space to be heard, understood, and supported.
Explore care with JennyAll six pathways start at six hours, with additional time available based on your needs. Add-ons are available and can be discussed during your consultation. Add-ons and additional time are priced separately.
Your intensive may be completed in one visit or split across visits, on weekdays or weekends. I’ll discuss your needs and scheduling with you.
An intensive isn't only talking about painful experiences.
There is rhythm to the work.
I may invite you to talk.
Pause.
Notice what is happening in your body.
Work with a protective part.
Regulate.
Reflect.
Move.
Rest.
Return to something that surfaced earlier.
Integrate what you've discovered. The extended format allows me to follow the therapeutic process rather than repeatedly interrupting it because the hour has ended.
Depth without force. Structure without rigidity. Clinical care with room for the whole person.
Both are forms of Integrative Psychotherapy in my practice. The difference is the therapeutic container.
Ongoing therapy provides continuity and consistent support over time.
Extended therapeutic time focused more deeply around a particular experience, issue, pattern, or goal.
You don’t have to decide which one you need before contacting me. I can help you explore that during your consultation. Treatment recommendations and session format are determined through individual assessment.
No.
Clinical intensives require thoughtful screening.
Before scheduling, I’ll discuss with you what you're experiencing, your treatment history, current supports, therapeutic goals, medical or mental-health considerations that may affect treatment, and whether an intensive is an appropriate level and format of care.
There are circumstances in which weekly treatment, psychiatric support, a specialized treatment program, crisis intervention, or another level of care may be more appropriate. The goal isn't to place everyone into an intensive.
The goal is to help determine the right therapeutic container for you.
Neither is inherently “better.”
They serve different purposes.
Weekly outpatient psychotherapy provides continuity, relationship, support, and gradual therapeutic work over time.
Clinical psychotherapy intensives provide concentrated time for focused, immersive work around a particular concern, experience, or goal.
Some people may benefit from weekly therapy.
Some may benefit from an intensive.
Some may use both at different stages of their healing.
Part of the consultation process is determining which therapeutic format makes sense for you.
You only need somewhere to begin.
During your consultation, I’ll ask about what you're experiencing, what you hope will change, what you've already tried, and whether an intensive may be appropriate. If you and I decide to work together, your treatment experience is then designed around you.
A different way of healing begins with a different kind of conversation.
